Sunday Services, Christenings, Weddings and Funerals all take place within our ancient church.
Sunday Services generally take a monthly rotation pattern. Our Vicar Reverend Marilyn Elliott, our Curate Reverend Gary Eve and Lay Reader Paul take the Services on the 1st Sunday (Parish Eucharist) 2nd Sunday (Morning Prayer) and 3rd Sunday (Parish Eucharist) at 11.00am.
The 4th Sunday there is no service and the occasional 5th Sunday is a Benefice Service.
CHRISTENINGS are often held during a Sunday Service. The 15th Century Font bear the initials of the 1672 Church Wardens and a fitting place to welcome the faithful into the Church today. Call Reverend Marilyn on (01503) 221159 to make arrangements.
SPECIAL DAY, SPECIAL PLACE, SPECIAL WEDDING
A church wedding will add a spiritual dimension to your marriage. It is a ceremony that bonds you in front of your family and friends and in the eyes of God as well. If you are considering a Church Wedding we believe Talland Church with its beautiful setting on the South Cornish Coast, availability of organist and a peal of six bells makes it an ideal location for your special day. Call our Vicar Reverend Marilyn on (01503) 221159 to talk over your wedding plans and eligibility to marry at Talland. You don’t necessarily have to reside in the Parish. It’s never too soon to call us.
FUNERAL SERVICES are still held within the Church but the churchyard is now closed.
